Mrs. Moffett and Online Writing Classes
My students call me Mrs. Moffett and I teach Jr. High and High School writing classes online. I also offer one-on-one classes for elementary, Jr. H. and High School students. The curriculum I use is the Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) program. I am a certified IEW instructor which means I have completed the same lessons I teach my students. Plus, I have met the standards IEW set for their instructors. So, when I tell my students I understand the difficulties they have with a lesson I actually do because to obtain my credentials I had to complete the units they are working on. With IEW students are taught how to include IEW stylistic techniques into their essays as well as how to structure their paragraphs. Truly, I know the struggle with trying to apply an -ly adverb or www.asia clause to a paragraph. Without a doubt the [4] -ing sentence opener is a challenge to add to essays but with practice can be mastered. I too have struggled with adding the [4] sentence opener to an essay. And, what about those decorations. Applying decorations to writing assignments, students are given an opportunity to bring their essays to life with alliterations, rhetorical questions, or 3sss (three short staccato sentences). Yes, incorporating decorations into essays can be a challenge but you feel good when you apply a great decoration to a paragraph. I know I do. Teaching IEW classes online has been a blessing. Online classes allow me to reach multiple students across the world. I have fond memories of students I have taught in Australia, Canada, England, Haiti, Japan, and across the United States of America. I am Mrs. Moffett, and I teach IEW classes online.
